This week, we're visiting two ranch homes, one in Ladue and one in Frontenac. From tried-and-true design, these are sometimes referred to midcentury modern depicting the style of a single floor plan on a large footprint. With the value of land and the economics of tear-downs, these classics are in shorter supply. Builders are not building these sprawling, comfortable, convenient homes.
