I tried "S-Class" chains on my Honda Element last year fearing they might rub the struts. Turns out it rubbed a layer of rubber off the side walls, but not the rim. The "S-Class" cables (cheapies) worked fine; didn't rub the tires, nor the rim, nor the struts. If I ever put "chains" on my G37x, it'll be the cheap cable type. They're the most low-profile and have minimal contact with the tire side wall.
@ @ Battlin' Blue Navy beat the Fightin' White Army in 1991, so I'll go for the repeat.
